The new FlexiChannel manages now following use cases successfully:
- Update availability and rates on SiteMinder when we have any changes on availability and rates
- We smoothened the sync reservation from SiteMinder to GauVendi Extranet
- Sync reservations with only modify message
- Avoid pushing Min > Max to SiteMinder
- Sync correct reservation when user canceled a reservation on booking
- Change default languages from German to English as Siteminder interface does not provide local language of the booker.
- Sync modified bookings to PMS *

The modification of reservations was a particular issue within the set up of the apaleo PMS users. We therefore implemented a mapping sales plan.
In the previous version of Flexi Channel, when a user changed the date on SiteMinder, Apaleo rejected GauVendi’s changes due to the fact, that reservations are all synched to "Personalized Room Sales Plans" on SiteMinder bookings. However, as there was no availability for the rate plan for personalized bookings, the update was rejected.
With the new solution, we now map based on structures in Apaleo, allowing us to map the exact category in Apaleo, including ERFC and MRFC. As shown in the images below, you need to correctly map the room products and Apaleo Sales Plans based on each sales plan in GauVendi.
This has been centrally changed for all apaleo properties and linked to the BASE rate plan per category. Please feel free to cross check and amend as needed.
