Events: The new configurator will also have the ability to provide recommendations to users for specific events. The events displayed have to be set up in GauVendi’s extranet and need to be set on “visible” in order to show on the configurator.
In preparation, please make sure to select which events you like to make available on the ISE and which ones you like to hide. You will find the section under Settings / Events
Events can be updated in various languages and features can be associated with this per event. This will ensure that these events are highlighted when the user is searching this period.
!!! - Please make sure to take some time to update relevant events respectively as it impacts on the recommendations you want to sell. For updates and changes go to Settings > Events- Define if you like to make an event visible to the sales engine or not. Tip: add events also in case of internal relevant events such as group bookings as it will help you to remember occupancy peaks and the relevance for you to update pricing.
- Update the relevant languages for the events name
- Add applicable features for the event if necessary
After creating the event you can select the features that should apply.
