Purpose of the derived rate plan is a linked to the primary / stand-alone rate plan. The minimum will always be the pricing. You can also link more conditions to be taken from the primary rate plan.
- Note: When you define the linked sections it is not possible to change this at a later stage. You will need to delete and create the plan again in case changes apply.
Derived rate plans are indicated in the sales plan overview.
When creating a sales plan that should derive from an existing sales plan, please define the following sections:
- Select Derived pricing using Pricing Methodology
- Define which sales plan you like to derive from
- Define the conditions:
- Follow daily payment and adjustment
- Follow daily cancelation policy adjustment
- Follow daily extra services
- Follow daily availability
- Follow daily sales plan restrictions
- For the sections you do NOT select you will need to manage the conditions directly in the sales plan. E.g. for a non-refundable rate you will select all fields as follow except the payment and cancellation adjustments.
