If you want to create a promo code for a special promotion you are running, simply follow below steps:
- Enter the "Sales" section in the GauVendi system and go to "Sales Plans".
- Either clone an already existing sales plan or create a new one.
- Click on the rate code once created and enter the information tab.
- As a rate type, choose "Promotion". Once chosen, you have the opportunity to enter the promo code you want to use.
- Enter all the promotion details as you want them to be applied, e.g. the rate plan adjustment, extra services included and which rooms the promotion is applicable for.
- Press "Save" on the top of the page.
- Of course, those can also be amended as needed.
- Once everything is properly set up and you saved it, if you go back to the Sales Plan overview, you will see the promotion with the black label "Promo".
